Congratulations on your engagement! We are so glad you are considering Carrot Tree to be part of your family's celebration day. In order to serve you better, we have outlined the following terms and conditions to make booking your perfect wedding cake more efficient.

 

Terms & Conditions

• To reserve your date, we require a $50 non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. The deposit will be subtracted from the final balance due.

• To better serve our clients, we offer personalized consultation including a tasting. You are welcome to bring along additional guests to assist with your decision, but we ask that you limit the attendees to no more than (3) additional persons. (Adults only, please)

• We encourage you to bring pictures, color swatches, ribbons, or any examples that will better help to communicate your cake vision.

• We will provide you a detailed proposal for your cake within 24 hours of your reservation.

• Our cake flavors, fillings, and styles are outlined in our pricing brochure. We are happy to mix and match flavors and fillings to create your dream cake. Your price will be determined by the size and detail of your cake. We will provide a price list to you prior to placing your deposit. We also publish our pricing on our website.

• The current contract balance will be forwarded to you (30) days prior to your event. We ask that any changes to size and decoration be made no later than (1) week prior to your event. Changes to your cake order: size, fillings, flavors, design, etc. made after that date cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges.

• The total contract balance is due (2) weeks prior to your wedding date. We are happy to accept payments on the final contract price; however, all monies must be received by the assigned date.

• There is a $25.00 charge for delivery within the Williamsburg area; $50.00 to the Hampton/Newport News/Yorktown area; and $75.00 to all Route 5 plantations. Delivery is available to select destinations outside of the above, we are happy to discuss venues and pricing at your consultation.

• Rental equipment including cake stands is available. If your order requires rental equipment, a security deposit must be left with us at the time of final payment. We will return the deposit upon receipt of all rental equipment in its original condition. All equipment is to be returned within 24 hours of the event. Returns after this time will forfeit your security deposit.

• All of our cakes are made from scratch in our bakery. Some of our products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests and hold us harmless for allergic reactions.

• On occasion we will photograph our cakes in situ. We reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you.

• Our sincere goal is your utmost satisfaction with our products and services. We strive to create positive relationships with all of our customers and would like to thank you for choosing Carrot Tree Kitchens to be part of your special day.
